About This Chevrolet Corvette
This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split-window coupe underwent a comprehensive five-year custom build beginning in 2014, which included refinishing the fiberglass body in pearl white and mounting it on a Street Shop Inc. chassis specified with C7 Corvette-style suspension and braking components. Power comes from a 6.2-liter LS3 crate V8 paired with a Tremec TKO600 five-speed manual transmission, a Silver Sport hydraulic clutch kit, and a 3.50:1 limited-slip differential. The engine features a fabricated intake manifold, polished coil covers, coated headers, a DeWitts aluminum radiator, and an electric cooling fan, feeding a dual exhaust system with an X-pipe.
The chassis incorporates C7-spec suspension, adjustable coilovers, aluminum control arms, slotted disc brakes, a hydroboost-assisted Wilwood master cylinder, and power rack-and-pinion steering. CCW alloy wheels measuring 19 up front and 20 in the rear are mounted with 265/35 and 305/30 Pirelli P Zero tires. Additional exterior features include fender vents, quad tail lamps, dual rear exhaust tips, Detroit Speed intermittent wiper motor, electric headlight motors, and ground illumination beneath each door.
The interior was recently re-trimmed in red leather by Introspective Design of Burleson, Texas, and includes Vintage Air climate control, a RetroSound stereo, Dakota Digital instrumentation, power windows, LED interior lighting, and a tilting steering column. A Sparc Industries steering wheel frames the 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, dual digital displays, and gauges for fuel, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and battery voltage.
With 97 miles indicated on the digital odometer, this split-window Corvette combines classic 1963 styling with modern performance and comfort upgrades, including C7-spec handling, advanced braking, and a potent LS3 powertrain, creating a fully restored and meticulously engineered collector-grade vehicle.
